For our client, a well-known company operating within the heavy-machine industry, we are looking for suitable candidates for the position of:
Field Service Engineer (France)
The candidate will be responsible for many tasks while servicing new, and already used heavy machinery equipment. The candidate will have to inspect the machinery, identify all the problems and support the repair technicians with all the information, repair manuals, tools and spare parts needed for the full repair of the equipment. The candidate will also be responsible for adjusting the warranty conditions for new equipment, claims conditions, managing all the procedures and giving reports to the supervisors.
Responsibilities: - Servicing new and used heavy machinery equipment - Supporting technicians with information, repair manuals, tools and spare parts - Cooperating with regional dealers, customers, factory departments - Supervising field product reports - Managing pre-delivery-inspections and regulating regional warranty conditions on new equipment - Preparing trainings for regional service trainers, service engineers and mechanics
Qualifications: - At least few years of experience on the similar position - Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering etc. – such qualifications are more than welcome - Experience with interpreting technical specification - Good communication and analytical skills - Experience with various IT-software systems - Good French and communicative English knowledge – It’s a must! - Driving license cat. B
